As an investor, I know a good opportunity when I see it. I moved to
Permas Jaya in 1985 when I saw the great things that BRDB was
doing for the sleepy town. My son was born there, my family thrived
there and I even became a grandfather while we were living there.
Naturally, Permas Jaya holds special memories.
In a way, the success and growth of my family has perfectly mirrored
the evolution of Permas Jaya. I have an office in Permas Jaya and right
around the corner are my favourite cafes. We shop for groceries at
the AEON in Permas Jaya and over the weekend, we enjoy a game of
badminton in the Permas Jaya sports complex. The lives we lead at
Permas Jaya are the very definition of community living.
Recently, I fell in love with the landscaping design of BRDB’s Straits
View Residences and Condominium. You know, when you get to a
certain age, you crave the tranquillity of a place that allows you to
unwind after a tough day at work.
Over the years, I’ve purchased terrace houses, light industry units,
commercial shop lots, a semi-detached house, a bungalow and a
condominium... all from BRDB. Permas Jaya was my first experience
with BRDB but it certainly wasn’t my last.
